Last night was the official opening of the Art and Design 2014 annual exhibition. The Industrial Design and Innovation Department saw a range of its students exhibiting their work alongside other textile undergraduate students, as well as postgraduate product, textile and fashion students within the studio space. The second year product design students are all set for their Material Matters exhibition next week starting from the 12th November as part of AD14. The New Zealand Geographic Photographer of the Year is a spectacular free outdoor exhibition. This year it is located in Karanga Plaza on Auckland’s waterfront, opposite the Viaduct Events Centre, the exhibition is open daily until October 30, 10am-6pm.
