Simon Kinneir Designs Leaven Range for Visually Impaired Users

British designer Simon Kinneir has designed a range of homeware objects that offer tactile cues to simplify use for the visually impaired.

theleavenrange5lr737x492The Leaven Jug consists of a stainless steel vessel supported on an angle by a tubular steel frame. The frame has an angled base allowing the jug to tip forward slightly when full.

theleavenrange4lr737x492The range also includes a set of cutlery with raised marks that allow the visually impaired to check they are holding them the right way up.
