Check out some of the exploration and development work of second year student Justin Rosaria.
Currently second year students are working on a collaborative brief with New Zealand design company Douglas and Bec. Students are asked to create a beautiful object that showcases the best of artisan design.
“The main goal so far is to try experiment, combine and extract the best aesthetic and functional value that I can get from combining and using the materials that I have got.”
Justin is experimenting with a range of different materials including brass, aluminium and copper, as well as a range of different woods. This has led him to the development of a beautifully crafted coat hanger. Check out his blog and watch this space to see his final product.
