Studio V – A.T customer service experience – Week 1



Day 1 : My experience
The trip was a eye opener to how behind the Auckland Transport system was in comparison to the more populated cities. Having lived and travelled to major cities in my life time, I’ve grown accustomed to quick, reliable public transport and since living in Auckland, i fully agree with Rob’s statement. “The car is king.” This is because of aucklands slow development in transport systems. “New Zealand is 80 years behind in terms of the Train system, 40 in station design and 20 in ticketing.”

After the field trip through several train stations it was clear that as of current the smaller stations posed the largest health and safety threats, however the newer stations have been improved but seem to have missed some fairly obvious gaps in terms of customer service experience.
