Seven Sharp: Standing desk story

AUT staff/student teamstandingdesksmallb

Tune into TVNZ’s Seven Sharp this week for a story on standing desk office spaces. The department has done quite a lot of research in this area and the office at the Human Potential Centre (featured in the photos here) will appear in the news story. This standing desk furniture was designed by Nancy Wang and Daniel Ravlich and was developed for manufacture by Stephen Reay, Mike Grobelny and Shane Inder. The project was undertaken in collaboration with the staff at the Human Potential Centre and has received a lot of really positive feedback since it began at start of 2012.

Awesome to see our students and staff are really challenging the way people view office furniture: Well done team!
