The second year collaboration with New Zealand design company Douglas and Bec has featured in the Urbis magazine. Rebecca Dowie spent seven weeks mentoring the second year students to hand craft an object, a light or piece of furniture exploring different materials in combination with wood. The result? a range of different beautifully handcrafted artisan pieces including an indoor clothes line, mirrors, lights, rocking egg timer, a periscope and many more.
