Freedom Camping: Development of the Design Brief

We worked through the various insights from the camping trip and emerged with a short list of issues we had identified. These included things from redesign of zippers and pegs through to in tent storage and waste management when camping. In our group we ranked the different ideas against a criteria including opportunity for form design, level of technical innovation required and financial viability to name a few. The two highest scores against this criteria were camping storage systems in-tent and waste management systems. We presented our findings to the other groups and got some feedback. This related to the waste management being a fairly tough area to sell when people lean to towards spending on comforts.
